Credit unions do more than just banking.  We're teaching youth about financial literacy.  We're choosing to volunteer in our communities.  And we support causes unique to the neighbourhoods around our branches.

Being an active part of the community it's important that we ask ourselves the question:  what does it mean to be a good neighbour?  Well, we think it's about celebrating the things that make our communities great and to give back to our neighbours.

At Mountain View Financial we're Making Money Make a Difference.

Our community response is top of mind for all of us at the moment.

As this situation is constantly evolving, we are collaborating with charitable agencies and the business community to best understand how we will be able to reach those most in need.

Stay tuned.

Investing in our community is an investment in ourselves. Why? Because we’re your neighbours, our kids go to the same school, we sit alongside you on the bleachers. We share a community - let’s build on the things that make it great.

Our contributions come in all shapes and sizes and for kinds of needs. We’re committed to celebrating our communities so if you think you have an eligible cause, then we’d love to hear from you.

Partnering with 4-H means we're helping local youth build bright futures for themselves and their communities.  This grant program provides opportunity for local clubs to access $500 grants to help gain career skills or lead community building projects.  Applications are presented to our nearest branch for consideration.

So, how many times have you used trigonometry since you left school? Wondering if a lesson on RSPs & TFSAs might have been a bit more applicable? Don’t worry. We’ve got your back.
