When will my GLOBAL PAYMENT Mastercard® card stop working?

The card will no longer work as of May 29, 2019. Full access to your credit union account and funds will remain accessible through debit, in branch and online.

What if I need to replace an existing card because of a lost or stolen situation prior to May 29?

We can continue to provide you with replacement cards until April 15, 2019. Call your local branch.

How will I access my credit union accout after May 29, 2019?

Your credit union account will continue to work the same as it did does today. You can access your funds in branch, online or through an ATM using your credit union debit card.

If you do not have a debit card attached to your credit union account, call your local branch and we can set one up for you right away.

What about my pre-authorized payments set up on my GLOBAL PAYMENT Mastercard® card?

 If you have pre-authorized payments set up on your GLOBAL PAYMENT Mastercard® card you will need to contact the merchant debiting your account directly to make alternative payment arrangements before May 29, 2019. If you need assistance with the process, please connect with us to work through the required changes.

If you wish to set up a new pre-authorization directly from your credit union account, download our Pre-Authorized Payment Form, complete the details and return to each of the businesses that you are dealing with.

Institution number: 899

Transit and Branch number: You can find the transit number for your branch by clicking on your branch location here.

Credit Union Account number: you can find your credit union account number on your statement (paper or electronic). To confirm your correct account number, you can either login to online banking then select View e-statements from the menu on the left side of the page.  Click on the date of the most recent month then click OPEN.  You can also login to your mobile app, select the account you wish and then click on account details located beside your balance. The 12-digit account number required for direct deposits and pre-authorized payments is found after the name of each account (for example 260012345678).  The account number is written without dashes or spaces. If you’re not sure, just give us a call.

 Can I set up my credit card so it automatically deducts payments from my chequing or savings account?

Effective April 30, cardholders will have the option to sign up for Collabria's AutoPay feature.  This new feature allows members to have their monthly credit card payments automatically deducted from their chequing or savings account.  Two payment options are available for cardholders who sign up for AutoPay:

  • Minimum payment amount - The minimum payment amount shown on the last credit card statement is automatically withdrawn on the Payment Due Date from the member's bank accounteach month and paid to their credit card.
  • Full Balance - The full balance shown on the last statement is automatically withdrawn from the member's bank account each month on the Payment Due Date and paid to their credit card account.

 Why is the GLOBAL PAYMENT Mastercard® no longer available?

CUETS Financial* is ending the program for all credit unions across Canada and no current replacement exists.

While we recognize this change impacts our members in many different ways, we remain committed to ensuring we are there to support their needs as best we can. Our new partnership with Collabria** has allowed us to expand the credit card products available to our members.
